Silly Season Summer StichAlong

SUMMER STITCH ALONG!

We know that Summer can be a crazy busy time for people. But what about those people who aren’t? Or what about if you are busy but still want to do some quilting? We are organising a Silly Season Summer StichAlong, will you join us?

The quilt we will be making is Nightingale by Lo and Behold Sitchery. To participate, you will have to purchase your own copy of the pattern – you can get a PDF digital download emailed to you (here is a link to the pattern on the Lo and Behold site) or you can purchase a paper pattern copy from Lo and Behold, or you may find a supplier in New Zealand.

This quilt is fat 1/4 friendly and, with a little bit of thought, can also be made scrappy. Do an image search online for Nightingale Quilt for lots of inspiring colour choices.

We will begin the second week of December (Monday 4th) and we will run for ten weeks (finishing early Feb). Yep, right through the silly season! You may get yours finished to flimsy stage earlier depending how many blocks you decide to make per week and how big you make your quilt.

There will be a Facebook group for you to post pics of your progress and you will receive a link to this after you sign up.
