  1. Lorna Newsome says:

Thank you so much to the committee and the sponsors of these challenges. I am the proud winner of the Yellow Challenge so would especially like to thank Barrie of Speciality Threads and Bill and Jan of BJ’s Colourways and Collectables for my prize of their fabulous products. This was presented to me last night at Rose City Quilters meeting by Mary and Felicity. I look forward to incorporating these vibrant threads into my textile works in the near future.
    Thanks again
    Lorna Newsome

  2. Juliet Fitness says:

Can you tell me where these two challenges will next be displayed? There seems to be a lack of information of where they are traveling to. I heard on the grapevine they were somewhere in Tauranga last weekend, but no other information.

I missed the Orchid and Flower Show as I was teaching in the South Island at the time, and long to see the exhibitions.

  3. Mary Culver says:

Thanks for keeping us on our toes Juliette. The Yellow Challenge Quilts have just left Tauranga and are heading for Golden Bay Nelson. They along with the Floral quilts will then head back North ad be in Auckland for the Festival of Quilts – I hope you can see them there.
