Merrilyn Frances George, of Ohakune
I would like to add my congratulations to Merrilyn for the well deserved Queen’s Service Medal. I have long been an admirer of Merrilyn’s work which is always well considered and and reflects New Zealand’s landscape and history.
I am also aware that Merrilyn has taught at Ruapehu College for many years (fortunate students) and has been an enthusiastic promoter of Ohakune and it’s history.
