Cosy Kiwi Kids

With the advent of the freezing weather this week it is a salient reminder that many young people in New Zealand do not have adequate bedding to keep them warm. We are putting out a call to all New Zealand Quilters to donate quilts to Cosy Kiwi Kids to ensure no child in New Zealand goes cold. Donated quilts need to be suitable for toddlers, children and teenagers – so a range of sizes is appreciated.

We are currently focusing on providing quilts to the south – Invercargill – and to Kainga Ora in Auckland. We work together with local Social Workers to ensure that quilts are delivered to those who need them.

Quilts can be delivered to:
North Island Co-ordinator: Bobby Duncan – Fabrics By Three, 17 Fleetwood Grove, Waikanae, Kapiti Coast 5036.
South Island Co-ordinator: Marie Williams – 94 Elizabeth St. Ashburton, 7700 (Back section if hand delivering)
Or bring them along to any AQ event, or pass them along to any AQ committee member.

If you are not able to donate quilts we appreciate contributions to assist with the costs of freighting quilts to their destinations.
Donations can be made to our Bank Account 12-3048-0289863-00 Ref: CKK Donation
