AQ 100 Days Project 2020
The 2020 100 Day Project has finished for the year. We hope to display some of the work in person or digitally later this year.
Overview
As part of our on-going mission to expand our horizons, to share work, to learn and to challenge ourselves, Aotearoa Quilters invites Members to participate in the AQ 100 Days Project 2020.
The project is about doing one creative thing every day for 100 days and recording and sharing your progress. If the right act of creativity is chosen, this can lead to exploration and development in style, theme, skill, confidence, ideas and many other things. A 100 days project is definitely a challenge, but it’s designed to foster discipline and commitment and if done with a group of like-minded people, it can be really fun!
Project Details
- Start date is 2nd May 2020
- Finish date is 9th August 2020
- Much of the information will be shared via a closed Facebook group; therefore it is advisable that participants have a Facebook account.
- Participants will choose a project and are encouraged to upload regular progress photos to the AQ 100 Days Facebook group and the share their triumphs and trials with other members.
- Participants will receive regular emails throughout the project for motivation, encouragement and accountability.
- There will be an opportunity to exhibit projects, or parts thereof, at the Auckland Festival of Quilts in November 2020. Details will be confirmed further into the project.
Entry Details
- Entry is open to Members of Aotearoa Quilters. The entry is now Free! AQ wants to help people feel connected, and alleviate any financial anxiety!
- Once your online entry form is completed and your fee received you will receive a welcome email with details of the closed Facebook group.
