Felicity (Fliss) Ellison

Fliss was on the Aotearoa Quilters committee from 2014 until 2020, and during that time she wore several hats –  Secretary, Vice President, co-ordinating challenges and remains as Association Archivist. Fliss was always there to help, whether it be hanging quilts, taking down quilts, welcoming guests, researching information and talking at quilting events. At exhibitions Fliss could be relied on to have a box full of bits and pieces that might just be needed and invariably were. If we needed to know something, find something, Fliss was the person to go to. She has a great knowledge of the history of Aotearoa Quilters. She has a heart of gold and gives generously of her time, still offering to help in any way she can. Aotearoa Quilters is pleased to acknowledge Fliss’s contribution to Aotearo Quilters and award her a Life Membership.
