Calling for NZ entries for the World Quilt Show

Each year up to 30 New Zealand quilts are selected to travel to the US and are exhibited at World Quilt Shows in New Hampshire (New England) , Oaks (Pennsylvania), Santa Clara (California) and Orlando (Florida). The quilts are sent in early July 20-18 and will return home in February 2019.

According to the organisers, our quilts have always been a very popular section of this show.

$9500 (US) is on offer as prize money in two categories – innovative and traditional.

There is also a Best of Country award for each country exhibiting 10 or more quilts.

Entry forms are available here now and entries close on May 14 2018. New Zealand_2018_Entry Form World Quilt Competition
