We were delighted to be able to share in Taupo Quiltmakers event at the Lake Centre in Taupo from 2-4 October. We had an excellent number of members attending the AGM.  After the meeting, we shared a meal together at the Cosmopolitan Club. The mood was vivacious, as we mingled and met new members and caught up with old friends. After the business part of the meeting, we had the prize-giving for the Aqua and Journey Challenges. Bobby Duncan was awarded a Life Membership of AQ for her stirling work over the last 5 years with Cosy Kiwi Kids, AQ’s charity arm. We said goodbye to our President, Mary Culver (who unfortunately was prevented from coming), and Vice-President, Fliss Ellison. We welcomed new committee members, Charlotte Scott, Heather Craig, Jo Hollings and Valda Sutton.
