Annual General Meeting
Aotearoa Quilters’ Annual General Meeting coincided with the annual Quilt and Craft Fair held and Claudlands Events Centre from 8 – 11 September, and the “On the Surface” Challenge that is now on exhibition at the ArtsPost Gallery in Hamilton.
The Annual General Meeting was held on on Saturday 10 September at 4.30pm at the Chartwell Church Hall (St Albans), 124 Comries Road, Chartwell, Hamilton.
The prize giving for Quilts Aotearoa and for the Challenge was held at the AGM, and President Catherine McDonald was delighted to present the prizes to those winning members who were able to attend.
Challenge Winners Announced
Winners of the latest Challenge were announced at the Opening of “On the Surface” at ArtsPost in Hamilton on 18 August. Di Partington was the overall winner, and three merit awards were made to Catherine McDonald, Mary Transom, and Ellen Whitlock.
The prizes will be presented at our AGM in Hamilton on 10 September.
